Today's careerplanning requires continuous education as corporations are demanding more and more of their personnel. Being able to secure particular skills is an unquestionable advantage for promotion or recruitment on the current job market. IEBA's programs in European Affairs were set up following a survey in which international entrepreneurs were asked what particular skills an international manager should have. The unique curriculum reflects the particular needs of the corporate world and focuses on international and US-EU (European Union) contemporary business issues. As demands from international companies for skilled managers who can cope with the new European economic entity are not met, participants to the Summer School acquire the expertise to participate in, and take advantage of the vast European market. Courses underline the practical aspects of every day management and marketing : European Trade Law, joint ventures, investment opportunities in the European Union and Eastern Europe, fiscal implications of the internal market, free movement of capital and goods, international tenders, EU subsidies, export support, etc. A once-in-a-lifetime experience!
